@scottwinkle5503The Constitution is supposed to be color blind -the voting Act gerrymandered for "race" so lol!... gerrymandering was done by Dems ..Ca, Maine, Virginia , NJ and many more ... these states have 40-50% republicans have 0 representation due to gerrymandering. It became outrageous only became when lines are redrawn in red states.

@MAV44444California is already gerrymander to hell and back in favor of Democrats, the Virginia gerrymandering map has been blocked, and it set to not pass state Supreme Court scrutiny in May. The DOJ civil rights division is threatening to sue any state that doesn’t get rid of racial gerrymandering districts after the recent Supreme Court ruling, most of which are red states (+12 districts).

SCOTUS really messed up on this one. Maps are drawn as a result of census every 20 years as mandated by the Constitution and yet, we are now redrawing multiple times, really sad.

Rural areas, normally conservative are being represented by liberal Democrats and urban liberals are being represented by conservatives. I'm a Republican and Trump supporter but I don't agree with this business. I live in a rural Republican area of a gerrymandered district in Maryland and my representative is a progressive Democrat so I understand how voters feel.
